Frances Johnston

Frances Johnston, Ph.D.

Dr. Fran Johnston co-founded Teleos Leadership Institute in 2001. She works internationally with senior executives as a coach, consultant and advisor. Fran has been a coach for 20 years, trained over 100 coaches, and coached executives across industries from financial services, architecture, consumer goods, education, and healthcare; and the world including Merrill Lynch, BP, Transamerica, IBM, and Unisys. A frequent seminar leader, and long time instructor at The Wharton School, Fran is an ICF professional certified coach (PCC). She finds teaching the Teleos Coach Development Program to be especially fulfilling because of her enthusiasm for teaching and working with groups, and because she believes the more skilled and ethical coaches there are in the world, the better it will be.

Edward Mwelwa

Dr. Edward Mwelwa brings to Teleos Leadership Institute many years of coaching and counselling executives through leadership development and organizational transformation. Eddy's expertise is customizing an intervention by integrating a number of disciplines and processes. He has a special interest in the application of Emotional Intelligence to executive coaching, work relationships, leadership and authority, and large system change as an organizational intervention. Eddy’s clients over the years include Unisys, Merrill Lynch, US Steel, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, and University of South Florida. He has been a faculty member of the Teleos Coach Development Program since its beginning and mentors students seeking ICF coach certification.

Gretchen Schmelzer

Dr. Schmelzer has 13 years of experience in transformational leadership development, executive coaching and management consulting, and 20 years of experience in working with individuals, groups, organizations and countries to help them achieve the change they want to make. She is a subject matter expert who provides Teleos with transformational leadership designs which attend to all areas of adult development, mechanics of behavior change, and individual and group dynamics. She is a certified senior coach and licensed psychologist who provides the internal supervision to the Teleos Executive Coaches and is a Core Faculty member of the ICF Certified Teleos Coach Development Program.

Michael advises, coaches and works with leaders to manage personal, team, and organizational change. He has over 20 years of leadership and consulting experience and is a faculty member of Duke Corporate Education’s Global Learning Resource Network, faculty-coach for Southern Methodist University’s advanced Leadership Program, and a member of the Business and Leadership Center at Integral University. With deep expertise in emotional intelligence and crucial communication, Michael helps leaders navigate the complex and ever-changing dynamics of executive team and board relationships. Throughout his career, Michael has designed and led major leadership, executive coaching, change, and learning projects for global and national clients, including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Exelon Energy, HSBC, Intel, Merck, Merrill Lynch, Motorola, PwC, Unicredit, Unilever, and World Bank.

As a trainer and organization development consultant, Kaye assists individuals, groups and organizations in order to increase their productivity and effectiveness. As an executive coach, Kaye integrates empathy, understanding and appreciation of the individual leader and their work challenges, with assisting them in creating powerful, positive impacts, results that matter and work groups that thrive and produce. Her work focuses primarily on six key practice areas: Leadership Development, Organizational Change, Optimizing Diversity and Inclusion, Executive Coaching, Team Building and Career Mastery. Prior to starting her company, Kaye was employed as an OD consultant at Exxon Corporation and as a Training consultant at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company.

Providing a range of strategic management and organisational development solutions she is known as a trainer, coach, facilitator, manager, leader and consultant. She has specialised in equality and diversity, leadership and individual development through coaching. She is always intentionally expanding her portfolio.

Ray Fisher

Ray is a consultant and executive coach at Teleos Leadership Institute. His career focus has been helping people achieve change in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. His clients have included leaders in U.S. government agencies, multi-national pharmaceutical companies, University of Pennsylvania, and Philadelphia Public School System. Ray has extensive knowledge in the area of growth and development and utilizes this in his coaching to help his clients at all levels. He provides leadership development training to culturally diverse groups. Ray helps clients review past successes and barriers to gather information to help prepare for a new vision for success. Ray completed his Master’s degree at Smith College School for Social Work in Northampton, MA. Ray is a certified ICF coach and comes to Teleos Leadership Development Institute after spending over 10 years working in private practice helping individuals at all levels of system identify, implement, and achieve their goals.

Kristin has taught leadership to diverse audiences as faculty for Harvard University’s Executive Education programs. She has earned the trust and respect of senior executives running multi-billion dollar businesses, governments, and executive directors of state and local non-profits.

He specializes in emotional intelligence, strengths-based leadership, and executive development. In addition to be credentialed by the International Coach Federation as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), he completed coaching programs with Teleos Leadership Institute, Coaches Training Institute (CTI), Solutions-Focused, Immunity-to-Change, Gallup Strengths Coaching, ORSC, and Case Western Reserve Developing Leaders through Emotional Intelligence.

Lee is a TCDP alumni, consultant, facilitator and coach who specialises in personal authenticity, sustainable and ethical leadership development and women’s leadership styles. She has worked in the development business for 7 years and has coached, trained and developed business leaders around the world. She works globally with senior and emerging leaders of companies such as, HSBC, BP, KPMG and Cap Gemini.

Lee is also a specialist in running ‘development journeys’ for business leaders, undertaken in countries such as Spain, Brazil and India. She is also an experienced international trainer, delivering programmes in countries such as Australia, Russia, Pakistan, Canada, Vietnam, China and Oman. She has worked with small businesses on developing strategy, business vision and the implementation of key performance indicators and business systems to ensure continued growth and expansion. She is regularly invited to speak to women’s groups on the topic of Women’s Leadership.

Hilary Lines is an executive coach and consultant who works with senior executives and their teams to enable them to release their creativity, resourcefulness and resilience, and thus to transform their leadership, both individually and collectively. She has a particular skill in enabling people to get beneath the surface of organizational relationship tensions, to confront their self limiting beliefs and to build resonant, emotionally intelligent relationships which deliver business results. She works across a range of sectors, particularly Financial Services, Professional Services, FMCG and the Public Sector and has worked in a number of countries across the globe. Hilary’s recent experience includes coaching the Chief Executive and Executive Committee of a London based asset management business, the Financial Services leadership team of a strategy consulting partnership, and the Global Technology team of a high tech business. Earlier in her career she directed a program to support behavioral change as part of the re-engineering of a major chemicals company and coached the board on their leadership for business and cultural transformation. She has also helped a range of health service hospital and strategic boards develop the skills and capabilities to bring about enhanced effectiveness. As Head of Management Development at a pharmaceutical company she developed a program management system to facilitate the transition of ideas from Research to Production and led a career development program for R&D scientists.
