Clare Southall
Senior Consultant
 Clare Southall is a facilitator, coach and consultant with Relume Ltd. Over the last five years with Relume, she has worked with individuals, teams and organisations across a wide range of industries including Banking, Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, Telecoms, Construction, and Utilities. Over the past twenty years her career has spanned working in both the public and private sectors, across a range of HR disciplines, specializing for the last ten years in the areas of organisation development and change management.
She is experienced in working with all levels of staff, including direct reports to the Board, Directors, Senior Managers and first time leaders, running leadership development programmes, advanced coaching workshops, culture change programmes, facilitating teams and one to one coaching.
During her eight years at T Mobile, Clare spent eighteen months leading the Change, Training and Communications team (a team of 40), as part of a multi million pound systems implementation for which she won a Chief Executive Award for outstanding contribution to business goals. On returning to OD she developed, with a colleague, a change management process and change education programme still widely used in the business today. Working in partnership with two external providers, she developed an advanced coaching skills programme and internal coaching network of senior level coaches to support a change in leadership culture.
Clare is a highly relational person with a warm and engaging style. She provides both support and challenge to her clients with a light touch, encouraging them to identify and make choices about the changes they need to make in their thinking and behaviour. She is highly pragmatic and will offer tools, approaches and ideas from her experience where she feels that will add value to the individuals, teams and organisations she works with.
Clare enjoys learning and self- development and is particularly interested in finding ways to create conversations in teams and organisations of the highest quality. She believes in peoples’ possibility and potential and the value of ongoing, stretching personal learning goals. She has experience of Gestalt coaching methodology and is currently interested in the value of mindfulness techniques and practice in supporting leaders to lead through uncertainty, ambiguity and paradox. She is qualified in the use of a range of psychometrics and personality profiling tools including MBTI, Margerison McCann Team Profiles and FIRO B.
