Matthew Gregory, BA(Hons), MSc
Senior Consultant
 Matthew has been working in the field of personal and organisation change for the last 20 years and his work is focused on enabling leaders, teams and organisations to grow - improving and transforming their performance. Working as both an internal and external consultant, he has led many organisation development projects and has worked extensively facilitating improved performance with both groups and individuals having coached well over 200 people. He has designed, facilitated and led a variety of leadership development workshops in areas such as business development, leading teams, impact and influence, presenting and advanced performance management.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Before starting his own business in 2007, Matthew spent nine years working for KPMG, one of the Big 4 global accounting and consulting firms. During this time Matthew held a number of senior Learning & Development roles and was responsible for a £2M budget. For part of that time he was responsible for all of KPMG’s sales training. In his last 12 months he led KPMG’s diversity and inclusion work on gender and flexible working. During this period KPMG won the BITC Opportunity Now awards for its flexible working programme, achieved Opportunity Now gold standard for its work on gender equality, secured a premier listing in The Times, ‘Where Women Want To Work’ league tables and enjoyed several features in the broadsheets. Prior to this Matthew spent seven years at Wesleyan Assurance in a variety of training, coaching and management development roles. He spent a year at GAN in a sales role and 18 months on a graduate management training programme with British Gas.
Matthew has experience in a wide range of sectors, including professional services, investment banking, automotive, construction, utilities, retail, manufacturing and financial services.
EDUCATION
Along with a first class honours degree in Business Studies, in 2005 Matthew completed a three-year Masters degree in Change Agent Skills & Strategies, which is a highly practical programme focusing on advanced coaching and facilitation skills and leading change within organisations.
He has been trained in the following personal and organisation development approaches: Gestalt psychology, NLP, Transactional Analysis and Psychosynthesis. These psychological models underpin his interventions. He is a member of the Strategic Account Management Association, the world’s pre-eminent professional body for those involved in sales and account management. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and is a qualified to use a range of psychometric tools.
Matthew is dedicated to adding increasing value to his clients and therefore makes a significant investment in his own personal and professional development. In 2008 he graduated from the five month ‘Newfield Ontological Learning Course – Pursuing Mastery for Experienced Coaches’, a personal development programme aimed at coaches with at least 200 hours coaching experience and who are graduates of a formal coaching programme. Matthew is currently participating in a 12 month ‘Gestalt in Organisations’ personal development programme.
