Kristin von Donop
Senior Consultant
Kristin’s career is focused on helping people achieve strategic change in private, public, and non-profit organizations. She taught leadership to diverse audiences as faculty for Harvard University’s Executive Education programs, and has earned the trust and respect of senior executives running multi-billion dollar businesses, as well as leaders in government and non-profits. Her clients include IBM, Microsoft, Judicial Council of California, Scottish Government, and the New York City Center for Charter School Excellence.
A master practitioner, Kristin is known for her ability to engage people at all levels to identify their most significant challenges, generate solutions and exercise the leadership required for successful implementation. Her professional experiences include board development, top team effectiveness, strategy development, strategic execution, leadership development program design, and executive coaching.
Prior to joining Teleos Kristin was a Principal at Cambridge Leadership Associates (CLA), the consulting firm founded by Ron Heifetz and Marty Linsky, faculty at the Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. While at CLA, she worked with many non profit clients, including a multiyear relationship with the Kansas Leadership Center to design and deliver programs to increase the quality and quantity of civic leadership across the state.
At IBM, Kristin worked with IBM’s top executives to address enterprise challenges, the leadership contribution to those challenges, and create approaches to improve organizational problem solving. She did this by helping them strengthen leadership team effectiveness, providing individual coaching, and running action learning teams to discover opportunities and approaches that would improve the quality of collaboration across business units and geographies. In partnership with Harvard Business School and IBM Corporate Strategy, Kristin facilitated strategic alignment workshops for more than thirteen senior leadership teams, including the CEO’s growth initiative.
Kristin has also worked for Accenture in their Organization and Human Performance Change practice in metro New York, consulting to Fortune 100 companies and developing change plans for large scale IT infrastructure implementations. She was also involved in business process design, organization design, and financial & performance management solutions.
Kristin completed her Master of Science in Organizational Psychology at Rensselaer in Troy, New York. Her master’s thesis explored trust in organizations and the impact of reciprocal behaviour. Her Bachelor of Science in International Business is from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, where she graduated cum laude. She continues her training at the Gestalt International Study Center.
