    Leadership Development of Senior Management

Our Approach

Teleos Leadership Institute collaborated with a large federal banking institution to help create a custom leadership program that included a focus on qualitative assessment, coaching and learning for Executive and Senior Vice Presidents to improve personal performance and leadership in a yearlong initiative.

Teleos founder, Fran Johnston consulted to the initiative by working closely with the senior HR team to assess and provide recommendations for this customized leadership journey. The purpose of the program is to focus on topics that shape the development of mental models, emotional intelligence and allows for peer learning and group problem solving to support collaboration.

The main components of the program were framed within the three fundamental leadership accountabilities: leading yourself, leading your network and leading your team.


The Result

Through coaching, peer learning and expert input, the program outcomes included:

  • Influencing skills to encompass emotional intelligence in addition to expertise
  • Leading with vision, inspiration and passion to be an effective leader that inspires and motivates
  • Collaborating and fostering inclusion by proactively appreciating cognitive diversity, and practicing social awareness and relationship management to embrace others’ input
